A satellite clinic is sometimes run from the outpatients department in the Victoria Infirmary in Helensburgh.
Please carefully check your appointment letters for the location of your appointment.
Approximate mealtimes are 7.30 – 8.30am for breakfast, 12.00 – 1.00pm for lunch, and 5.00 – 6.00pm for the evening meal.
Patients are referred to us for Post MI Surgery and Cardiac device implantation patients, as well as GP referrals and appointments with our Heart Failure liaison nurse.
We also provide exercise classes based in the hospital and in the community.
You should also attend A&E with a minor injury when the MIU is closed. If your child is less than 1 year old you should attend the A&E Department at Royal Hospital for Children in Govan, or the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
Remember, the MIU is only intended for people with less serious injuries who are aged 1 year and older.
The Vale of Leven MIU only treats patients aged 1 and over for minor injuries.
